Abseiling

We abseil in South Wales and beyond!

image We are climbers that run climbing days or half days that often end with a great abseil or two but we offer more...
We are regularly brought in by production companies to deliver safe abseiling for TV shows such as the BBC's 'Ultimate Hell Week'. Through our meetup group Adventure Activity South Wales we sometimes run trips to BIG abseils throughout the UK and we also run a climbing club that meets every Monday evening in Cardiff's indoor climbing venue, Boulders. Check out the groups calendar for details...

Please visit the Contact Us page for our current pricing structures and to book an abseil session with Wales Outdoors.

An abseiling half day in Wales, somewhere near Cardiff or Brecon or Swansea, would consist of us meeting you at the location, kitting you up with climbing harness' and helmets and getting out onto the crag. We would usually go through the set up with you and then we're away, sending you over the edge for up to a 100ft abseil. When abseiling you are in control but have no fear, we have you on a safety rope all of the time.

We are happy to deliver an abseil for you at any location. City centre charity abseil off a suitable building? No problem. An abseil at a natural location near to your accommodation? Not a problem either. Just get in touch for a quote.

The main abseiling locations in South Wales are Dinas Rock which is is the SW of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Llangattock Escarpment near Crickhowell and at Morlais Quarry which is near Merthyr Tydfil. Of course there are other locations but these are best suited to group use.
