It’s a magnificent walk taking in the very best of the coastal west
We’ll meet at Solva and with backpacks ready to go head off on a weekend of glorious views, sublime seas and great company!
The walk follows the Wales Coast Path from Solva to Pencarnan where we will camp for the Saturday night. This wonderfully remote location overlooking the ocean and Whitesands Bay is a perfect spot to rest up and perhpas get a camp fire on the go for the nights entertainment although those that wish could allways wander into St David’s for a pint or two.
Sunday see’s us following the path along the northen coastline of St David’s Peninsula all the way to Abereiddy and our shuttle to the start point and our cars.
Now, we could, if we went for it, get this walk done in a day BUT we want an overnight and some social time as well as the luxury of being able to stop at pools and beaches for swims and sunning ourselves as of course the weather will be absolutley stunning, guaranteed 😉
You’ll need lightweight camping kit OR you could, if you prefer, have a night in a hotel or B and B in or near St David’s. Best get booking ealry though… Last time i looked the campsite was £26 for two people in a tent, so not a huge expense. The fee here is for the guide and you will need to arrange your own accommodation seperately although if camping Andy will let the campsite know about numbers in advance of arrival.
