The LTG Global Awards Winners!

Yes, Wales Outdoors have done it again…

The Luxury Travel Guide says:

‘You were considered in the category Outdoor Adventure of the Year. Having reviewed information on all of those shortlisted, I am pleased to confirm you have been picked as the 2021/22 winner, congratulations. I do hope the recognition will be helpful.

During the awards process we invited over 100,000 businesses and travel professionals, magazine contributors and our subscribers to nominate companies & individuals based on factors such as service, reputation & reviews, experience, sustainability and other areas.’

Two fingers up to the tourism establishment!

Yes, Wales Outdoors are not on the VisitWales website, the national tourism agencies site, funded by the taxpayer and administered by pen pushers and tea and biscuit meeting goers. We were removed for refusal to play their games, alomg with most ofther guided walks providers in Wales… Yes, search visit wales for guided walks and there are none… Yes, Wales Outdoors have nothing to do with what we see as the dangerous and unsustainable adventure activity industry in Wales and so we do not support peer working in this sector. Yes, we have little social media presence, refusing the likes of instagram and twitter and maintaining a light presence on fb only.

And despite all of this we win! It’s because we do the right thing in ploughing our own furrow and our clients appreciate this.

Check out the rest of the site, check out the community, the range of available walks and residentials and know that those are the reasons why Wales Outdoors is the Outdoor Adventure of the Year destination.
