A 7.5 mile walk also suitable for children. This walk starts and finishes at the Parc le Breos car park.
Shortly after the start it takes in a Neolithic burial chamber and a cave that was inhabited for about 20,000 years. Thereafter we go on the Gower Way for a woodland walk and a small hill with big views before heading down to the coast where we take in a section of the Wales Coastal Path, a beach, steppingstones over the Pennard Pill and then the ruins of Pennard castle.
Before getting back to the car park there is the opportunity to have a proper dairy ice cream. If you have time why not visit the Gower Heritage Centre?
Coming from Swansea turn right off the A4118, signed to Coed y Parc, just after Parkmill. The car park is at the end of the single track road after about 1/2 a mile.
