Starting at a lay-by on the A470 we'll walk to the West of the Central Beacons and will explore the fabulous Forest Fawr
It's a mixed day of hillside paths, waterfalls, mountain peaks and one steep ascent. We'll follow the hillside as it tracks the A470, avoiding the crowds as they'll be on the other side of the trunk road, and soon we'll be away from the hustle and bustle and have the hills to ouselves.
We will tick off Craig Cerrig Glesiad and Fan Frynich before heading back to the challenge for the day, Fan Fawr. A steep ascent will have us at Fan Fawr's summit and lookking over the A470 towards Pen y Fan.
It's now time to slide on our backsides down towards the start point. There will be laughter!
We'll meet in the layby just North of Storey Arms OEC.
