We’ll meet at the lakeside car park and walk through the village and up and over Mynydd Llangorse which offers up remarkable views of Llangorse Lake. This is then our goal as we descend to the lakeside for a wander around it’s fringes, taking in the delightful chapel Llagasty Talyllyn along the way.
This walk can be exceptionally wet, even without going for a swim, as the lake rises and falls over and away from the surrounding fields.
Llangorse Lake is the largest natural lake in the Brecon Beacons National Park and is home to much wildlife.
