Wild camping at Andy’s favourite wild campsite in the North plus the splendours of the Carneddau
About
This is a tried and tested expedition in North Wales and takes in some fine scenery, the best of the quiet walking routes and includes a night wild camping at Andy’s favourite wild campsite in the North.
We’ll meet at Moel Siabod Cafe in Capel Curig where we can leave the vehicles for a small fee. We’ll then walk into the Carneddau via a wonderful reservoir walk.
Day two is the ascent of the 2nd highest mountain in Snowdonia and a great ridge walk that takes in both Carnedd Dafydd and Carnedd Llewellyn, before descending to Bethesda for some cafe food and then onto the campsite for the night.
Day three can be either a valley walk or a ridge walk, we’ll see how we all feel and what the weather is doing 🙂
Either way high or low we are heading back to the start point with a great weekend of walking under our belts.
We will be walking in North Wales prior to this expedition so do consider joining us for an additional day on the hill.
