Challenging but worth it! Andy is a great leader and very knowledgeable. The route we took was challenging with stunning views. It was nice to get to the summit of Pen Y Fan from a different starting point. I would definitely recommend 👌
A first time experience for me! If you are looking for a route that is not commonly travelled then this is the one to do! More of a social outing for me but one you can definiately trust to guide you on the path (with hopes that the weather is pleasant and you are not sick either!). All in all, a fantastic walk and great support!
Autumn walk through waterfall country Great guided walk. Saw six impressive waterfalls. Trails were easy to walk but a bit wet in places. The guide was helpful in navigating from one valley to the next where there were no signs and giving background information on the history of the area, particularly the silicon mines. Falls were running particularly full at this time of year
Absolutely loved the hike with Andy and his hound. (My dog was also welcome) The views were outstanding with no pressure on the pace of walk. He shared fantastic facts about the local history and some wonderful things about nature. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to book another trip. Thank you
A Welsh Hiking Experience Was a very fun a worthwhile experience. Andy was very knowledgeable and created a sense of community.
Pace was maintained well and greenery was very refreshing.
Cannot forget the waterfall!
A fun wet walk! A good walk with great views of the waterfalls which weee in full flow. Andy is a god guide with interesting stories. It was wet in our day and come prepared!
What a fun exploration of 6 waterfalls with Andy as our guide. We had a marvelous morning and afternoon as Andy guided us through the trails to explore 6 beautiful waterfalls, even walking behind one! We were given options for more adventurous routes which we happily took. The conversation was was great! Thank you Andy for the great memory!
everything and our guide was very kind and we learned a lot of things especially about the rare plants during our hike
If you have 1 day in north Wales, do this tour The hiking/treking was in a less touristic route, modestly paced to groups’ need. The view is fantastic as higher up we went.
Our guide Tom is very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour.
The day like this is well spent in life.
Highly recommended as long as you are able to walk.. honestly, what do you live for without the mountains?
Thoroughly enjoyed the'holy loaf' challenge yesterday.
Andy is friendly, knowledgeable and motivating. I cannot wait to join you again soon! Thank you
Brilliant Had a fantastic time on the holy loaf challenge, Andy is knowledgeable, friendly and motivating, can't wait to go back soon. Thank you for a wonderful day
Super experience and so pleased we were able to enjoy this outing with the dog. Very lucky with the weather and definitely beneficial to have waterproof boots and clothes for comfort. Would definitely recommend
Best ever hike! And very nice waterfalls view. Andy is a great guide!
23rd Sept Waterfall Hike Graham was an exceptional, welcoming and highly knowledgable guide! I thoroughly enjoyed our hike and the stunning nature we were able to be amongst. As a fantastic added bonus I learned some unique facts about plants and mushrooms thanks to his expertise. I would certainly recommend this hike to others thinking about undertaking it. Thank you so much Graham for a wonderful day!
The best hike I ever had! Andy pick me up on time at plaza hotel at 8:30am, on 12/09, it was my first time to Cardiff, along the ways to hiking place, he did a great introductory about Wales to me. I learned a lot from what he had shared. Andy is a very friendly guy, it was a great 15km hike and walk and the view and the water falls was spectacular. I will join his walk again in the near future. Strongly recommend to join walk and hike with Andy.
Andy picks me on time at 8:30 am on 12/09, he drove me all the way to the destination. It was my first time to Cardiff, he introduces the city to me in a interesting way. He is a very friendly guy, will join his walk in the near future. Strongly recommend to join his hike and walk. The scenery is spectacular too.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the area. The area was beautiful, just gorgeous. We would have liked a bit more time to slow down, explore (there are wild blackberries to pick!), and take in the views, but the tour went at a pretty fast clip. Not sure if that was typical or due to the rain.
We recommend! The day was rainy, but still everything was interesting and nice. Nice views, good “gang” and very good and experienced guide. 15 km to walk was not difficult, but good hiking shoes are recommendable. Value for money!
I enjoyed the day apart from the weather which was raining. I was part of a small group and were all nice people. I saw some lovely country side and the waterfalls themselves were beautiful. The guide Andrew was very experienced and knowledgeable about the whole area, and he was very friendly.
I do encourage anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Breton and Beacons in a nice joyful company to join Andy in this trip. The route allows you to experience various landscapes in a good pace, making it suitable even for those who don’t have prior experience. I totally recommend it.
Fabulous fun day walking in the Brecon Beacons. A great day, with stunning views, beautiful waterfalls, refreshing dips in cool water, and a good long walk. Andrew was a thoughtful guide, making sure everyone was comfortable with the pace and giving safety instructions clearly at any point it was appropriate. His local knowledge is admirable and he story tells in small bites keeping it interesting and accesible. I still remember his explanation of how to pronounce in Welsh! He is very inclusive, chatting to each of us, engaging in conversations that were interesting and suited to us individually. I felt very safe, looked after and part of the group at all times. I would definitely do another of his trips.
Brilliant tour! We did the walk on my husbands birthday and we both absolutely loved it! Andy and Kate were great and the views and the waterfalls were definitely worth the tougher bits of the walk. Walk very suitable for different abilities as we I did it 5 months pregnant.
Excellent guided sunset hike The sunset walk was a great hiking event .
Andy is a great guide and understanding
Regardless of hiking ability and fitness.
Always pleasant company amongst the group and this sunset hike upto the top
Of Pen Y Fan was no exception .
Very enjoyable event
I recently had an amazing experience on a guided hike in the Brecon Beacons to see the waterfalls with Andy and his dog Mali. It truly deserves a 5 star rating. Andy's extensive knowledge of the area made the hike not only breathtaking but also educational, Mali the friendly and energetic dog, added an extra layer of fun to the adventure. The stunning waterfalls were the highlight, and Andy ensured we had the best views and photo opportunities. Overall, a memorable day with a fantastic guide and his furry companion – highly recommended
A great day, good communication with Our guide Thomas the night before with a link to the car park. Thomas read the group very well in setting an achievable pace for everyone and gave us a history lesson on the mountain, as well as some myths and Welsh monsters and in insight into the plants and wildlife that make Snowdon their home.. I can thoroughly recommend it.
It was a great day. Highly recommend!!! Thanks so much Tom :)
Brilliant day out I must it was an amazing day with Andy. Got to talk about loads of things. Would like to do more of these and I proved my partner that there is no danger in UK forests :)
Fantastic Experience Climbing Mount Snowdon is quite arduous even via the Llanberis route, but it is definitely achievable if you are reasonably fit. Some parts are extremely steep but it eventually evens out. The last bit to the summit is quite steep and has steps and lots of loose stones. It gets quite crowded with some people trying to come up and others down! Everyone is friendly en route and there is a lovely atmosphere. There are plenty of rocks to have a rest on. Sheep are plentiful too. Reaching the summit is absolutely fantastic as the views are stunning. If the weather is ok the views and colours are simply incredible and worth every moment of the climb. The cafe at the top is always crowded but you can buy hot drinks and sandwiches etc. 100% worth doing for the experience and the memorable photo opportunities.
Amazing area and the wonderful service had been picked up at cardiff.
