Comments Off on Andy’s Amazing Eight Waterfalls Walk
Just as a teaser and a few days before we get out there we thought we’d share these rather lovely long exposure shots taken last year whilst out in Waterfalls Country in the Breton Beacons National Park.
We have historically made bookings and changes to those bookings and these details are kept by us on a manually maintained list. We will be removing all RSVP’s from Meetup so as to avoid confusion.
So remember, you can’t book here, you can’t register here. Here is for information only. Each event listed here has a link out at the top of it’s description to it’s equivalent at the Wales Outdoors booking area. There you can read a full description and see the location and make your booking.
Ideal if you want to help promote Wales Outdoors (thank yo Suso much if you do), if you have a club, group, blog or similar that you want to share us with and INVALUABLE to Wales based accommodation providers and attraction owners who would like to embed our calendar into their site for their customers use. We will reciprocate with similar level promotion of your business or group too.
No work started on footpath repairs at Pontneddfechan despite the damage occurring prior to lockdown. The main path from Pontneddfechan remains closed.
The small print page provides information relative to all of our events. We’ve kept it to a minimum, to be clear about timings, leaders, money etc and it is your responsibility to ensure you are happy with the information and simple conditions.
We're waiting for an offer of a discount for Wales Outdoors members to subscribe with so don't go downloading the app right now but suffice to say, we're impressed and whether or not we get a carrot we will still be recommending that you get the ViewRanger App. We'll obviously keep you posted on the ViewRanger incentive when we know more.

Look out for event updates as we might just programme in some walks to celebrate. But whatever we think up the good news is that our walks programme, currently due to start on August 1st and delivering a minimum of two walks each and every weekend, with some midweek dates too, is GOOD TO GO!
We’ll let you know when the app is live and will push out links to it’s download page and we do hope that a good few of you take the opportunity to engage with us in a safe and friendly environment before and after getting out on the hill with us 🙂
I’ve run out of time on this one – too late to post much now but suffice to say this is in then pipeline and will be a damning investigative journalism style report into the failings and nepotism that has and is rampant within the Welsh Government delivered tourism portal for Wales, Visit Wales.
We apologise for any inconvenience but point you in the direction of the Welsh Government for answers…
You coming from afar for our Waterfalls Walk? Well, we recommend booking accommodation at Sgwd Gwladys cafe - The staff are great, it's en suit rooms and a bunkroom so small and large groups catered for and it's at the walks start point.
Here is a regularly updated listing of stuff that we have tried and tested and absolutely love. This is not advertising, this is recommendation. Most items here are recommended with no association between Wales Outdoors and the product. A few items we receive a kickback and sometimes you do to :) This is because we have arranged with the supplier/manufacturer a discount for those who adventure with Wales Outdoors... Lucky you!
NO change of date or credits will be available after June 5th as we need to draw a line under the admin and move forwards with a clear idea of numbers wishing to attend any event so that we may plan and implement safety protocols appropriately.
