What Have The Tourism And Countryside Authorities Been Doing During Lockdown?
No work started on footpath repairs at Pontneddfechan despite the damage occurring prior to lockdown. The main path from Pontneddfechan remains closed.
Working With Covid
We will meet at suitable locations and the leader will describe the walk, the conditions underfoot and the estimated time it will take. We will do this whilst observing the prevailing social distancing guidance. You will be reminded there is to be no sharing of kit, clothing, food or drinks.

While many of NRW’s woodlands and nature reserves have been open during the coronavirus pandemic all of its car parks and many recreation facilities were shut in March.
The Five-Mile Rule Ends July 6
Look out for event updates as we might just programme in some walks to celebrate. But whatever we think up the good news is that our walks programme, currently due to start on August 1st and delivering a minimum of two walks each and every weekend, with some midweek dates too, is GOOD TO GO!

No Review Of Travel Guidelines Anytime Soon…
The five-mile travel guideline in Wales could remain in place all summer, with no plans to lift the limit until July at the earliest according to First Minister Mark Drakeford. This will make Wales over two months behind England in this and seriously damages business and so the people of Wales’ ability to thrive.
