It was new dog day, Mali, the newest member of the Wales Outdoors team making her debut with the group 🙂

We met at Pontneddfechan and followed the clockwise route around Andy’s Amazing Eight Waterfalls Walk which is in the south west of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

As you can see from the pics the weather was fine and river levels, for once, low-ish.

This is a ten mile walk but the mud underfoot definitely made it feel like fifteen miles. Poor pooch 😉

There were two Isobel’s out on the walk, Andy’s amazing assistant and an Erasmus student from Switzerland. Andy balanced the Swiss Isobel at Sgwd y Pannwr making for a memorable photograph for her.

Andy will be delivering several waterfall walks of varying length each month in 2020 and is out this coming Saturday if you want to join him…
