Andy Lamb goes for a very long walk

Andy, the owner of Wales Outdoors, was working for Welsh Water and was getting restless. This was the first job that he applied for after moving to Wales and although comfortable, well paid and close to his home in Quakers Yard it was not his calling. And so his restless feet lead to a long walk whilst on unpaid leave, a ‘journey’ if you like, a wander to find himself…

This was an and of the news item on BBC’s prestigious Wales Today programme and went out at 6.50pm on the 28th January 1993.
