Caerphilly Castle

Caerphilly Castle, located in South Wales, is one of the largest medieval castles in Britain. Built in the 13th century by Gilbert de Clare, it was designed with massive concentric walls, extensive water defenses, and a famous leaning tower. The castle played a key role in conflicts between the Normans and the Welsh. Today, it is a well-preserved heritage site, offering visitors a glimpse into medieval warfare and architecture. Its striking appearance and scenic surroundings make it a popular tourist attraction.
