Hike The Amazing Four Waterfalls Trail… And Henrhyd Falls!

Waterfalls! Waterfalls! Waterfalls! Yes, it's all about the… Waterfalls!

Waterfall Hiking Experience – Brecon Beacons Circular Walk

Join an experienced local guide for an unforgettable circular hike through the famous Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

We begin on the renowned Four Waterfalls Trail, a stunning loop through wooded gorges and river valleys. Along the way, you’ll encounter some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Wales—expect powerful cascades, lush moss-covered rocks, and even the unique opportunity to walk behind one of the falls.

And the adventure continues…

We head onward to the impressive Henrhyd Falls, the highest waterfall in South Wales, plunging into a dramatic and echoing gorge—an unforgettable highlight to complete the day.

Guided by a True Local Expert

Your guide for the day is Andrew Lamb, a qualified Mountain Leader and Green Badge Tourist Guide. With decades of experience, including roles as Chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism and a National Park Warden, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge, stories, and insight into the landscape, history, and natural environment.

A Quieter Way to Explore Waterfall Country

While the waterfalls area is a popular destination, this carefully chosen route avoids the busiest paths. Most of the day is spent on quieter trails, and midweek departures often mean you’ll enjoy large sections of the walk in peace.

With over 30 years of guiding experience in this area, we share in-depth knowledge of the region’s industrial heritage, geology, and rich natural environment throughout the day.

Between April and September, a small pop-up café may be available at the start and midway point. However, this cannot be guaranteed, so we strongly recommend bringing:

  • A packed lunch
