The Three Castles Tour Wales Itinerary
We will have an hour or more at each attraction, stopping for lunch in Caerleon, in a lovely cafe or bakery. Travelling time making up the rest of the eight hours in a PSV licensed and insured minivan, essentially the gold standard for a Wales sightseeing tour.
Our adventure begins at the breathtaking Tintern Abbey, one of Wales’s most enchanting historic sites in the heart of the Wye Valley. Next, we make our way to the mighty Chepstow Castle, Caldicot Castle, an impressive medieval fortress.
Then it’s on to Caerleon, where Roman Wales awaits in the remarkable Roman Amphitheatre, baths, and legion museum. We finish our day trip in South Wales in grand style at Caerphilly Castle, With its vast moat, soaring towers, and famous leaning tower (yes, Wales has one too!).
