Three Amazing Castles, Tintern Abbey And Roman Caerleon
A guided tour of three castles, one abbey and one amphitheatre inclusive of all admissions
This tour is FULLY INCLUSIVE of ALL attraction admissions!
We may be more expensive than our competition, but hey, you get what you pay for! We are not taxi drivers earning a bit on the side, we are fully qualified guides with deep knowledge of Wales and its history and we are trained to deliver group tours in Wales. We will have an hour or more at each attraction, with travelling time making up the rest of the nine hours. We'll stop for lunch in Caerleon, in a lovely cafe or bakery. We will not drop you off in a car park and say, 'There's the castle, off you go'!
This tour is delivered by a WALES TOURISM PROFESSIONAL!

Our adventure begins at the breathtaking Tintern Abbey, one of Wales’s most enchanting historic sites. Set in the heart of the Wye Valley, its majestic ruins rise gracefully from the landscape — a hauntingly beautiful reminder of centuries past.
This tour's vehicle is a fully electric PSV LICENSED and insured minivan! Public Service Vehicle licensing is the GOLD STANDARD for carrying passengers in the UK.
Next, we make our way to the mighty Chepstow Castle, dramatically perched above the River Wye. As you wander through its ancient gateways and courtyards, you’ll feel history come alive — imagine knights in armour, bustling markets, and grand banquets within these storied walls. Our journey continues to Caldicot Castle, a hidden gem nestled in tranquil parkland. Step inside this impressive medieval fortress to discover tales of battles, royalty, and intrigue — all set against a backdrop of beautifully preserved towers and sweeping views.
This tour is a SMALL GROUP EVENT of no more than seven passengers!
Then it’s on to Caerleon, where Roman Britain truly comes to life. We’ll start at the remarkable Roman Amphitheatre, once the stage for fierce contests and thrilling entertainment — and perhaps even linked to the legend of King Arthur’s Round Table. From there, we’ll explore the National Roman Legion Museum and the fascinating Roman Baths, where you can picture the daily lives of soldiers who lived here nearly two thousand years ago.
This tour is gently guided with the tour guide accompanying you into all attractions!
We finish our day in grand style at Caerphilly Castle — an awe-inspiring masterpiece of medieval engineering. With its vast moat, soaring towers, and famous leaning tower (yes, Wales has one too!), this mighty fortress offers a spectacular finale to our journey through the ages.
You will travel in a modern and luxurious fully electric vehicle, limited to a maximum of seven passengers, in the company of your driver guide, Andy, who is a Mountain Leader and a Green Badged Tourist Guide, an ambassador for many areas of Wales and a Visit Wales Pro. Oh, and amongst other things, tourism and adventure, he’s also been chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism and a Brecon Beacons National Park Warden.
